Own the Ruthie Davis “Koolhaas” shoes worn by “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad. The shoe has a 4/5” heel with a corrugated metal heel insert. The upper is a ribbed steel metallic kidskin with two rubber straps with silver metal studs. Made in Italy, the shoes retail for $665.
Ms. Conrad wore the shoes in a photo shoot for the September 2008 issue of CosmoGirl and donated them to support Clothes Off Our Back.
Proceeds from the auction benefit Clothes Off Our Back’s charities including Feeding America, The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, Malaria No More and Hope North.
After becoming a star on “The Hills,” and writing a bestselling fiction novel loosely based on her road-to-reality fame, Lauren Conrad will next write a book on style.
According to People, the young starlet will release “Lauren Conrad Style,” in the fall of 2010, published by HarperCollins.
“I am really excited to write a style guide,” Lauren said in a statement. “I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous.”
The book will reportedly teach readers how to get that signature Lauren look and also bring out their own sense of style and fashion.
But first, the reality maven will follow-up the bestselling “L.A. Candy,” with “Sweet Little Lies,” hitting the shelves on February 2, 2010.
An “adorable” Lauren Conrad joined pal Frankie Delgado at his table during a night out at Voyeur in L.A. Surrounded by female friends, the former Hills starlet drank a few glasses of champagne as she laughed and people-watched all night. Conrad was also busy on her BlackBerry, sitting down low and trying to remain low-key. Delgado, meanwhile, was wilder, pouring vodka right into his friends’ mouths. The club promoter was the life of the party, entertaining his friends while Conrad snuck off before 1 a.m.
