Lauren Conrad becomes JWoww
Posted on July 30, 2010 | Categories: News

Lauren Conrad finally realizes her dream to be JWoww, as Lauren and the rest of The Hills cast gets a Jersey Shore mash-up/ makeover.

Lauren had tons of guidette glamour becoming JWoww, and was the only one who’s real looks did not look at all distorted in someone else’s body.

In fact, Lauren’s evolution into JWoww only enhanced Lauren’s features, tripling the value of her assets if this infamous mash-up were to become a reality.

It’s even recommended by MTV that Lauren would push more merchandise if she sold JWoww’s signature clothing line, even going as far to rename it “Filthy LCouture”.

Obviously, everyone’s excited about Jersey Shore premiering another season like it did last night, with Lauren and Lo tweeting each other on their anticipation of Jersey Shore’s return.

If MTV is so over The Hills, and now is all for Jersey Shore, why are they always incorporating The Hills into Jersey Shore?

New Photoshoot!
Posted on July 26, 2010 | Categories: Gallery,Photoshoots

I just added a new photoshoot of Lauren to the gallery that was taken for her line at Kohl’s! As always, I want to thank Carole over at Avril Source for these! Also, I just wanted to say that I’ve noticed a lot of Lauren sites taking these new photoshoots and not giving credit back to the site. I didn’t want to do this because I don’t like tagging my photos, but I’m going to start putting a tag on them now because nobody is giving credit back to here. It’s a very small tag on the bottom. So you’re able to still use the photos for fanart, layouts, or anything else you want to use them for. And please do not remove the tag! Thank you and enjoy the shoot! :)

Gym Chic: Ashley Greene vs Lauren Conrad
Posted on July 23, 2010 | Categories: News

These ladies certainly know how to dress to impress when hitting the gym.

Twilight beauty Ashley Greene and former ‘The Hills’ hottie Lauren Conrad were both spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday sporting some very sexy workout attire.

Ashley, 23, was wearing a skin tight green halter top and cropped leggings while Lauren, 24, paired black leggings with a loose fitting but very low cut vest under a black hooded sweatshirt.

Ashley and Lauren are known for their enviable figures, with both listed in People magazine’s Most Beautiful People 2010.

But the girls have more than just fashion and figure in common. Ashley replaced Lauren as the face of Mark make up earlier this year, a brand owned by Avon.

Both ladies are also currently enjoying success in their chosen career fields.

After leaving The Hills, Lauren launched a successful fashion line and has written two New York Times best-selling novels based loosely on her life.

The third novel in the trilogy comes out in October 2010.

Ashley on the other-hand has starred as Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga films and will be playing the role again in 2011.

She has also filmed three other films due for release next year and is due to begin filming another next week.

She is reportedly going to receive $2million for each of the next Twilight films. So the gym wear budget looks safe.

Lots of Love for Lauren – One on One Interview
Posted on July 23, 2010 | Categories: Interviews,L.A. Candy,News,Sweet Little Lies

If you are anything like us, you have been a big fan of Lauren Conrad, once known as “LC” on Laguna Beach and you sported TEAM LAUREN tees from Hollister. But now, our Lauren is all grown up and has so many amazing things going on in her life — from life after The Hills to her new collection, Kohl’s line and latest books — Lauren Conrad is a name you just can’t forget.

How has life been since The Hills?

It’s been great! It’s always a little scary to make a big change like I did when I decide to leave the show, but I don’t regret it one bit. Since I’ve left I’ve discovered a new love… writing! I have had such an amazing experience writing my novels and touring the country for signings. It’s been an exciting year and I’ve learned so much.

Also, I have been having such great time working on my Kohl’s line and have been blown away by the support I have received. Fashion has always been what I have loved to do and I feel so fortunate to be working with such a great partner. Aside from that, I have really enjoyed having a personal life and the opportunity to do a little traveling. All and all, I’d say it’s been a great year.

We just finished reading your second book, Sweet Little Lies (HarperCollins) and of course, it kept us wanting more — How did the idea of your LA Candy Series come about? Was writing something you have always been interested in?

The concept of the LA Candy series was more of a compromise than an original thought. I was interested in writing a dating book (sort of a what-not-to-do for someone who’s made all of the mistakes) and HarperCollins wanted me to write a tell-all about The Hills. Since I wasn’t comfortable revealing the secrets of others we began talking about a fictional series. This way I could tell the story of a journey similar to the my own without calling anyone out…but still include insider knowledge from someone who’s lived it.

How are the books [related] to your personal life – was that the inspiration?

I wrote from experiences and I also based characters on a compilation of people I had met in my life but the books aren’t real life. I had a ton of fun playing make-believe.
